VISION

SOUTH AFRICAN
DESIGNER WORKING
ACROSS ARCHITECTURE,
URBANISM AND
SPATIAL JUSTICE
Driven by a belief in the power of design to address complex social, environmental and spatial challenges, I work at the intersection of architecture, city and regional planning, and urban systems. My multidisciplinary background allows me to bridge systems thinking and human-centred design to create places that are equitable, resilient, and deeply attuned to the people who inhabit them.
Shaped by the realities of post-apartheid South Africa, I have developed a critical understanding of how the built environment influences opportunity, safety, identity, and belonging. My work explores the transformative potential of design to challenge spatial inequality, strengthen social cohesion, and reimagine cities as platforms for dignity, connection, and collective empowerment.
Design has the power to transform strangers into neighbours, spaces into communities, and cities into places of belonging.
